From change to multiplication!

One of the things that we have learnt, over the last 29 years of ministry, is that constant change is here to stay! The Holy Spirit never stands still. At all costs, it is vital for each of us to remain sensitive to the Spirit of God; to obey His purpose and His plan. We must adapt and adjust and move with the cloud, following His leading, His guidance and His voice.

At the close of 2008, I had been sensing that the Lord was dropping something in my spirit for the future and so for the whole month of January I really pressed in to hear His voice for the next phase of what He would have us do. I prayed particularly for what to do to increase the harvest in 2009. On Sunday the 1st of February, as I sat in my office talking to a few people after the morning service at The River at Tampa Bay, I mentioned that I had lost a tremendous amount of weight in the previous 18 months (118 pounds now). As I said, “I have lost the weight”, I heard the Lord say, “That’s not all you have lost. I am freeing you up to run like never before!”

It was not until a few weeks later that I remembered the prophesy Pastor Rick Shelton gave at our 2007 Ministers Conference, where he told us that for another two years we would give of our time, resources, talents, treasure and people, as we traveled this land reaping a harvest of souls, then there will come both a change and a multiplication! As I sat in my office and heard the Lord speak to me that day concerning being freed up to run, I saw it in a flash. The Spirit of the Lord came on me and I saw how that He would enable us to duplicate and multiply what we are doing with the Great Awakening Tour, around the world, and thereby quicken the harvest.

From around the world, requests had already been flowing in to bring the Great Awakening to the nations. I wondered how we could reach the world at the same time as we reach America.  The Lord told me that we could do both. He instructed me to release Eric and Jennifer Gonyon and the first Great Awakening team to go to the cities without me. They are not leaving - they are still working with and for this ministry – but they will continue the Great Awakening Tour of America as we travel to the nations. We plan to raise up a second team in Tampa that will work daily on the Central Florida region. Then we will raise up teams in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australasia and the Pacific, and Central and South America. This will greatly increase and multiply the harvest!

I am so excited about this! We are looking for, and believe we will find, churches in the U.S.A. who have a vision for souls and the harvest and would be willing to cooperate with us and host our G.A.T. teams. In the process, we will raise up a third and fourth team here in the U.S.A. We see the day coming when Adonica and I will be overseeing a mighty harvesting machine! We foresee multiple meetings taking place at the same time in the U.S.A. and around the world, both through our ministry and also many associate evangelists.

We are so excited and blessed by what the Lord is doing. In fact, we are elated! Pastor/Evangelists Eric and Jennifer Gonyon have been with us for 12 years and have accompanied us to 25 nations of the world. We pray the same favor and blessing on them, as is on us, as they lead the first team. We still plan to do several meetings together, such as our Campmeetings and particular Great Awakening Tours.

In the month of March, while the G.A.T. team headed by Eric and Jennifer launched in California, Adonica and I launched the G.A.T. in Europe, in Zurich, Switzerland, and God did some awesome things (see page 3). Then we went on to Papua New Guinea, with Evangelist Tim Hall, and then Brisbane, Australia. As we write this, we are headed for Copenhagen, Denmark; Riga, Latvia; and Bergen, Norway. We pray for protection on all those who labor on the frontlines in the harvest of souls. We also pray supernatural provision, because that’s what it will take to bring in this harvest.
