God's blessings are wonderful and they DO overtake you.

We have been so blessed by the teaching on giving here at The River. One of the testimonies that I would like to share about is the following. I was sitting in the Sunday morning meeting and Pastor Rodney made the comment, "The Lord knows about that $100 bill you have tucked away in your purse." Meanwhile, my husband Steven had left on a business trip and left me $100. And I said, "You know what, I am going to sow that $100 bill." So I did, and that is pretty serious when it is your last $100. And then Sunday night a lady sitting next to me said, "I feel like I need to give you something, so I will see you in church on Tuesday night." Tuesday night she came and gave me a really beautiful card and in it were two $100 bills. She didn't know anything about the $100 bill I had sowed that morning!
We had also been praying about having a Christian kids TV program in Tampa. The Lord has opened the door with a local TV station here, plus other stations that are affiliated with it. Furthermore, the Lord has given us the free air time which is a great blessing.
Also, we have been praying about releasing two new CDs, worth several thousands of dollars of production. One gentleman has pledged to do both of them.
God's blessings are wonderful and they DO overtake you. It is more blessed to give then to receive and you can never out-give God. I hope these testimonies have blessed you. We are thankful for all of the things that God is doing here in this church and we believe this is wonderful soil.
