Student Life:

Q:  Are there any on-campus dorms for students?
A:  At this time there are no dorms on campus. However, upon acceptance the student will  receive a listing of local apartments and private renting opportunities.

Q:  Is there computer and internet access availability?
A:  Wi-Fi and computer access is available to the student body.

Q:  As an RBI student, what are the requirements?
A:  Students are required to attend Sunday morning and Wednesday night services, serve in a ministry of helps and help in our Prayer and Care Center 3 times a month and 6 times per quarter. Students are also required to go soulwinning at a minimum of once a week.  
 
Q:  Is there a local church that students can attend?
A:  The River Bible Institute is in association with the River at Tampa Bay Church.     Attendance is required to The River unless the student is previously attending another church in the local area.

Acceptance Process:

Q:    How do I apply for the River Bible Institute?
A:    Any of the following ways are acceptable:

Q:    How do I know if I have been accepted into the River Bible Institute/River School of Worship?
A:    You will receive a letter of acceptance via postage mail.

Q:    What is the deadline to send in my application?
A:    Early application July 31, 2012

Q:    When is the general fee and tuition due?
A:     The general fee is due upon acceptance to RBI/RSW. Tuition payments can be made before or during the week of Orientation.

Q:    Are all students required to attend Orientation?
A:    All students, whether incoming or returning students, are required to attend orientation in its entirety.

International Students:

Q:     What type of visa do international students apply for?
A:    International students need to apply for a B1/B2 visa and state the purpose as "unpaid religious charity work". Information about the application process for the B1/B2 visa can be found on the website of the US embassy of the country the student is from. An invitation letter from Revival Ministries needs to be taken to the consulate upon application for the visa.

Q:     Can International students work in the United States?
A:    International students cannot work in the United States under the B1/B2 visa.

Q:     Does the River Bible Institute have housing for International Students?
A:     RBI/RSW currently does not have housing or dorms for international students.

Accreditation:

Q:    What kind of accreditation does the River Bible Institute have?
A:    The River Bible Institute is an accredited member with Transworld Accrediting Commission International (TACI).
