The Awakening In South Africa

Dear Friends and Partners
As I write this to you it is now 2 am on Saturday morning here in South Africa in the City of East London. We have been here in this city for 20 nights now and have been broadcasting on 2 Satellite Platforms - CTV and TBN that are both owned by a dear friend for many years pastor Andre Roebert - He is also head of Revival South Africa and the River Church which is a sister Church to our one in Tampa - Andre was touched in the 95 revival in Southern Africa - He founded River Corp which comprises of 44 Companies here - you can find out about it by going to www.rivercorp.co.za - the company does about R300 Million Per Year - $38 Million US - he has 500 employees - it consist of Hotels, game farms, Golf Course, Spa's, Charter Jet Company, and Publishing Company amongst other things - you can see it on his web site.
I had received a word from Evangelist Ted Shuttlesworth in February that I would have one of the Great Revival's ever in East London and he at the time thought that it would be in the UK - However I knew exactly where it was - that it was in the Eastern Cape of South Africa - I was born in Port Elizabeth and grew up in King Williams Town and Butterworth Transkei.
About two weeks Later i received a call from pastor Andre Roebert asking me if I would please come and broadcast live across the Africa for 30 nights for what he was calling 30 days of Glory - I told him that I did not have 30 days open and felt I could clear 18 days - however the Lord had other plans - what started out 20 nights ago with a double antarctic cold front with temperatures in the mountains at -22 degrees because we are in the middle of the winter here in South Africa, has now exploded into a full blown awakening that is shaking across Africa - it is hard to quantify the effect as already thousands have flown in from all over Southern Africa and it looks like it's not stopping. We have trained up 1410 Harvesters and have seen 20 259 decisions for Christ in 20 days with just 90 minutes per day on the streets.
The Testimonies are amazing - from the streets to what is happening in the homes across Africa as the fire is falling and people are downloading the scripts and surveys and are going out on the streets and winning souls. One business man from Cape Town came to East London and hired 3 total heathen - unemployment is at 65 percent in the region - he told them their Job is to bring people to him and they would gather the people and he would lead them to the Lord. The end result is they are all saved and they are now soul winners too - this is amazing they got saved, and the baptized in the Holy Spirit - and are winning souls - sounds like the book of Acts.
We were supposed to be back in the USA already however we had a strong word from the Lord not to leave until He told us - I have been in enough of these meeting in 20 years of Revival to now when to head on. So my apologies to all our friends and partners who expect us in Texas for the Campmeeting - you will be in good hands with Eric & Jennifer Gonyon and my Brother Gil Howard-Browne and of course Pastor Bob Nichols. I will be broadcasting into the services from Africa mainly the mornings because the Hour time change between us and Texas in 7 hours and I would be talking to you at 3 am in we did it at night. Trust me we prayed much over this and believe that we would miss God and His plan if we went home now.
Remember you cannot pray not my will but thine and then have your will.
This next Testimony comes from Pastor jimmy Crompton who Pastors Word of Faith in Port Elizabeth - He had brought several of His men to catch the fire for souls and take it back - One of hem when he got back to Port elizabeth was called to pray for a man who was demon possessed. He walked in the room and the man manifested and the Demon began to scream - the forms, the forms, the forms, they have made it so easy we are loosing souls. He had no way of knowing about the Gospel Script and the Survey. It sounds like the devil's are really upset - we are plundering Hell and populating Heaven.

There are so many testimonies - 20 days worth - along with thousand's of calls, sms,s and email's etc God is moving in a special way here in the land of my birth. Also we have been able to create a stir concerning the legalization of prostitution by sending 1000's of people to the website rivercorp.co.za and downloading the form to submit to parliament to stop the legalization of this before the 2010 world cup soccer - this will allow slave trade to be legalized as 1000's of girls from as young as 8 years of age are sold by organized crime on the streets of Southern Africa - this must be ended, I feel that we are literally having an impact on a nation - who knows where this will go.
