I went home that night and I cried, because ever since I gave my life to God there has not been one

A few weeks ago, I was going through a hard time. I was a little frustrated because I love to eat healthy foods and I have been following a new nutrition program; however sometimes our finances are a little tight and it seems that it is usually our groceries that we end up sacrificing. One night during a Tuesday night service, I sat down during the announcements and took out a piece of paper. I started to write out a grocery list. At the time, I would say that it was more "wishful thinking" than faith. I thought it would be cool if someone just came up to me and offered to take me grocery shopping. It's funny the things you think that God isn't paying attention to, or how easily we forget that He cares about every aspect of our lives. I had totally forgotten about the list when a close friend of mine came up to me and said that God had been telling her that she needed to take me and my husband grocery shopping under one condition...that it be all healthy food! I never mentioned that list to anybody; I didn't have to hint at it or beg anyone to take me to the store. God had it under control and he used it to draw me closer to Him. I went home that night and I cried, because ever since I gave my life to God there has not been one desire of my heart that He has overlooked, He is so dedicated to loving me and He continues to show me His love in such expressive and tangible ways.
