Multiply – Two Are Better Than One

Foundation Scriptures:
Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. 10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. 11 Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? 12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.  Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 KJV

1. The Power of Agreement.
a. Two are better – stronger; more powerful – than one.
b. Matthew 18:19-20 KJV – “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
c. Harmony requires agreement.
d. Amos 3:3 KJV – “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”
e. When we come into agreement and harmony, God can move.
f. Acts 2:1 KJV – “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.”
g. Everyone has an opinion, but it is God’s Word that is the Truth that unites us all.
h. 1 Corinthians 1:10-11 AMPC – “But I urge and entreat you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in perfect harmony and full agreement in what you say, and that there be no dissensions or factions or divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your common understanding and in your opinions and judgments. 11 For it has been made clear to me, my brethren, by those of Chloe’s household, that there are contentions and wrangling and factions among you.”
i. It is possible to be in agreement when we prefer one another in love. 
j. Romans 12:9a-11 AMPC – “[Let your] love be sincere (a real thing)… 10 Love one another with brotherly affection [as members of one family], giving precedence and showing honor to one another. 11 Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord.”

2. Multiply Your Efforts.
a. One will put 1000 to flight; two will put 10,000 to flight, when God is on our side.
b. Deuteronomy 32:30 KJV – “How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up?”
c. Don’t try to do things on your own.
d. Ask for help; be teachable; be humble; learn. 

3. Agree with God’s Word for Your Life.
a. God’s Word is your firm foundation.
b. Get in agreement with God’s Word.
c. Psalm 1:1-3 KJV – “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
d. As a single. 
e. Married couples – focus.
f. Ministry – souls; revival; making disciples.
g. Business – make money for the funding of the end-time harvest.

4. Helping One Another.
a. The way up is the way down.
b. I must decrease, He must increase.
c. Stop running so fast you can’t stop to help others.
d. It is not just about you, completing the race, but helping others run, too.
e. If they stumble, pick them up and run alongside them until they are strong.
f. Each one reach one.
g. Each one teach one.
h. Make disciples.
i. Win the lost at any cost.

5. You Are Not Alone. 
a. No man is an island, just living their lives by themselves.
b. Selfishness is not an option.
c. It is time to allow the Holy Spirit free rein in your life.
d. Lift up your eyes and see the hurting and the needy and reach out and help.
e. This is the heart of Jesus – to leave the 99 to go after the one.
f. Matthew 18:11-14 KJV – “For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. 12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? 13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.”
g. One aim; one goal; one vision.
h. Speak the same thing.
