The Evangelist –– Part Twenty-Four

The Final Harvest

Foundation Scriptures:

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths... Isaiah 2:2-3 KJV

1. The Final Harvest.

a. History is moving toward a conclusion, and God’s Word reveals it.

b. The Bible does not end with retreat, defeat, decline, or quiet fading.

c. It ends with harvest, glory, and victory.

d. The evangelist is not merely a participant in this moment; he is central to it.

e. Matthew 24:14 KJV –– And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

f. The end is not triggered by silence; it is triggered by proclamation.

2. God Has Always Planned a Final Harvest.

a. The final harvest is not accidental; it is intentional.

b. Luke 10:2a KJV –– Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few…

c. God does not end the age with scarcity; He ends it with abundance.

d. Souls gathered from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation.

e. The evangelist stands at the center of God’s end-time strategy.

3. The Harvest Will Be Global and Rapid.

a. The final harvest will move faster than any previous move of God.

b. Isaiah 2:3 KJV –– And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord…

c. Technology accelerates reach.

d. Fire accelerates response.

e. Urgency accelerates obedience.

f. What once took decades will take years—even months.

4. Opposition Will Increase—So Will Power.

a. Darkness intensifies because time is short.

b. Revelation 12:12b KJV –– Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

c. But increased darkness does not diminish light—it reveals it.

d. God never sends His evangelists into an unwinnable battle.

e. He sends them clothed with authority, fire, and boldness for such a time as this.

5. The Evangelist Will Preach with Finality.

a. There will be no casual preaching in the final harvest.

b. Revelation 22:11 KJV –– He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

c. The message will be clear.

d. The line will be drawn.

e. The call will be urgent.

f. The evangelist will preach with eternity in his voice, because time will no longer be theoretical.

6. Multitudes Will Respond.

a. The final harvest will not be small.

b. Revelation 7:9 KJV –– After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands…

c. This is not symbolic language; it is prophetic reality.

d. Crowds will come.

e. Nations will respond.

f. Whole regions will turn.

g. The Gospel will be heard everywhere and decision will be unavoidable.

7. The Evangelist Will Not Be Ashamed.

a. In the final hour, boldness will replace hesitation.

b. Romans 1:16 KJV –– For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…

c. Evangelists will preach without apology, without dilution, and without fear.

d. They will speak plainly about sin, repentance, the Blood, salvation, fire, and judgment, because love demands clarity.

8. Heaven Watches the Final Harvest.

a. Heaven is not distant, it is attentive.

b. Luke 15:7a KJV –– I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth…

c. Every altar call echoes in eternity.

d. Every soul saved is recorded.

e. Every evangelist who labors faithfully is seen.

f. Nothing is wasted and nothing is forgotten.

9. The Evangelist Finishes His Assignment.

a. The final harvest is not about survival; it is about completion.

b. 1 Peter 5:4 KJV –– And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

c. The evangelist does not look backward with regret, but forward with expectation.

d. He knows the work was worth it.

e. The fire burned.

f. The Gospel was preached.

g. The harvest was gathered.

10. The Final Word Belongs to the King.

a. When the harvest is complete, Heaven has the last word.

b. Revelation 22:20 KJV –– He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

c. The evangelist answers not with fear, but with agreement.

d. He has done his work.

e. He has poured out his life.

f. He has finished his course.

11. This Series Ends, But the Harvest Continues.

a. This is not an ending—it is a commissioning.

b. The evangelist who reads these words is reminded of who he is, why he was called, and what remains to be done.

c. Until the trumpet sounds, until the last soul responds, until the King returns, the evangelist preaches.

d. Because the final harvest is not coming, it is here.
