Fire Power—To Be A Witness

Foundation Scripture:
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8 KJV

1. Power to Be a Witness.
a. Power to be a witness­­­—to tell the world.
b. When you are genuinely saved and filled with the Holy Spirit—you cannot be quiet—you have to shout it out.
c. You will have a keener awareness, a sensitivity, a hearing ear—to hear the cries of the lost.
d. You will be moved by the Holy Spirit. 
e. Acts 16:9-10 KJV — And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. 10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavored to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.
f. A vision in the night—a Macedonian call.
g. God called them to preach the glad tidings.

2. Missionary.
a. A missionary is not one who crosses the sea but one who sees the Cross.
b. The call—my dream in the night at the age of 12 or 13.
c. I saw Jesus.
d. I wept because I saw lost people going to a lost eternity.
e. I asked Jesus who would tell them about Him so they might be saved and make Heaven—and He showed me that I would need to tell them.
f. If you saw Him, He would tell you the same thing too.
g. I promised Him that I would.
h. This commitment has now carried us to 63 countries of the world.

3. Holy Ghost and Fire.
a. You must be baptized in the Holy Ghost and fire.
b. What happened in Acts 2—when they were baptized in the Holy Spirit—was not a one-off experience.
c. Other people received it as well.
d. Acts 10:44 KJV — While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
e. Acts 11:15-16 KJV — And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. 16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

4. The Holy Spirit is Still Moving in the Earth Today.
a. The Holy Ghost is moving in the earth today—listen to Him; obey Him.
b. When you commit to obey His call to win the lost at any cost—supernatural and miraculous things begin to happen.
c. Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria…to the uttermost parts of the earth.
d. It starts at home.
e. Sharing the Gospel with family, friends, and neighbors. 
f. Bringing them to church.
g. Preaching on the streets and in your neighborhoods.
h. HOJ’s; outreaches; etc.
i. Fire spreads.

5. God Still Calls; Anoints; Appoints.
a. Get hungry.
b. Get thirsty.
c. Get desperate.
d. Press in.
e. Today is your day.
