Foundation Scriptures:

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV

1. The Gospel Is Not Negotiable.

a. The evangelist does not carry a flexible message.

b. He carries good news that does not change.

c. Methods may adapt; language may adjust; settings may differ.

d. But the Gospel itself is fixed, settled in Heaven, and unalterable by culture, politics, or pressure.

e. Galatians 1:8 KJV –– But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

f. The evangelist is not called to improve the Gospel—he is called to proclaim it.

2. The Gospel Originates with God, Not Man.

a. The Gospel was not conceived by theologians, councils, or institutions.

b. It came from God Himself.

c. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you…For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received (1 Cor. 15:1–3).

d. Evangelists are stewards, not editors.

e. They deliver what they have received, nothing more, nothing less.

f. The moment a man alters the Gospel to avoid offense, he forfeits Heaven’s backing.

3. The Gospel Confronts Sin Before It Comforts.

a. True Gospel preaching does not begin with affirmation—it begins with truth.

b. Sin must be exposed before salvation is embraced.

c. Acts 3:19 KJV –– Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

d. Repentance is not cruelty; conviction is not hatred; truth is not intolerance.

e. It is mercy.

f. An evangelist who avoids preaching sin removes the doorway to grace.

4. The Cross Is Central, Not Symbolic.

a. The Cross is not a metaphor; it is the axis of redemption.

b. Galatians 6:14 KJV –– But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

c. There is no Gospel without the Cross.

d. There is no salvation without the Blood.

e. There is no forgiveness without sacrifice.

f. The evangelist preaches Christ crucified—not as history, but as present power.

5. The Blood Is Essential, Not Optional.

a. Modern preaching often minimizes the Blood because it offends the natural mind.

b. But Heaven never removed it—man did.

c. Hebrews 9:22b KJV –– …without shedding of blood is no remission.

d. The Blood:

- Satisfies divine justice

- Cleanses the sinner

- Silences the accuser

- Secures redemption

e. The evangelist restores Blood-centered preaching because only the Blood answers sin.

6. Salvation Is Immediate and Definite.

a. The Gospel does not invite people into a process; it calls them into a decision.

b. 2 Corinthians 6:2a KJV –– …behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

c. The evangelist preaches for response, not reflection.

d. Salvation is not gradual.

e. Justification is not delayed.

f. New birth is not theoretical.

g. When sinners believe, they are saved now.

7. The Gospel Produces Transformation.

a. True salvation changes lives.

b. 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV –– Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

c. The evangelist does not promise self-improvement—he proclaims new creation.

d. Grace does not excuse sin—grace destroys its dominion.

e. Where the Gospel is preached fully, lives visibly change.

8. The Gospel Divides the World.

a. The Gospel unites believers, and divides humanity.

b. John 3:18 KJV –– He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

c. There is no neutral response to the Gospel.

d. The evangelist understands this and refuses to soften the message to avoid division.

e. Eternity is at stake.

9. The Evangelist Guards the Gospel Fiercely.

a. The evangelist is a watchman over the message.

b. 2 Timothy 1:13a KJV –– Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me…

c. He does not trade truth for applause.

d. He does not barter clarity for acceptance.

e. He does not adjust the message for relevance.

f. The Gospel does not need defending; it needs declaring.

10. No Compromise.

a. The Gospel is not political; or cultural.

b. It is not negotiable.

c. The evangelist either preaches it whole—or not at all.

d. And when the Gospel is preached in its fullness, Heaven responds, hell trembles, and souls are saved.

e. That is why the evangelist will never compromise the message.

f. Because eternity never compromises its demand.
