1. The Gospel is Good News.
a. Good News of great joy to ALL people—a Savior is born—Who is Christ (the Messiah) the Lord! (Luke 2:10-11 AMPC)
b. Men need a Savior because all have sinned—and the wages of sin is death.
c. Romans 3:23 NKJV — For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
d. Romans 6:23 NKJV — For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
e. The whole world, because of sin, is judged, condemned, and on the way to hell, but when they believe on Jesus, they are saved—their sentence is commuted, they receive eternal life and are made righteous.
f. John 3:16-18 NKJV — For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
g. Whosoever calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved (Rom. 10:13).
h. Romans 10:9-13 NKJV — …if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

2. Jesus is the Only Way.
a. John 14:6 AMPC — Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.
b. The ONLY WAY (door; gate) into heaven and the Father’s presence, is through Jesus Christ (Matt. 7:14; John 10:9).
c. 1 Timothy 2:5-6a AMPC — For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 Who gave Himself as a ransom for all.
d. You cannot have the Father without having the Son—believing in, and acknowledging, Jesus Christ as the Son of God and confessing Him as Lord (1 John 2:23; 4:14-15; 5:20).
e. Something happens on the inside—you get a new heart—and your spirit is Born Again (John 3:5-6; Eze. 11:19; 18:31; 36:26).
f. 2 Corinthians 5:17 AMPC — Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

3. Jesus Saves, Heals, and Delivers.
a. Acts 10:38 KJV — How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
b. Jesus did signs, wonders and miracles during His earthly ministry and He still does them today (John 2:11; 2:23; 3:1-2; 11:47; 20:30-31).
c. Acts 2:22 AMPC — You men of Israel, listen to what I have to say: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man accredited and pointed out and shown forth and commended and attested to you by God by the mighty works and [the power of performing] wonders and signs which God worked through Him [right] in your midst, as you yourselves know.

4. Repentance and Judgment.
a. The kindness and goodness of God is intended to lead us to repentance (Rom. 2:4).
b. Luke 13:3 NKJV — I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
c. Acts 3:19-20 NKJV — Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
d. Repent: To feel remorse, contrition, or self-reproach for what one has done or failed to do; to be contrite; to feel such regret for past conduct as to change one’s mind regarding it; to make a change for the better as a result of remorse or contrition for one’s sins.
e. Acts 17:30-31 NKJV — Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.
f. We need to humble ourselves, repent when necessary, and continue keep our heart right.
g. Revelation 3:19 NKJV — As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

5. His Lordship and Headship.
a. Acts 2:36 AMPC — Therefore let the whole house of Israel recognize beyond all doubt and acknowledge assuredly that God has made Him both Lord and Christ (the Messiah) - this Jesus Whom you crucified.
b. Acts 10:36 AMPC — You know the contents of the message which He sent to Israel, announcing the good news (Gospel) of peace by Jesus Christ, Who is Lord of all.
c. Ephesians 1:18-22
d. The Father raised Jesus Christ from the dead and EXALTED Him at His own right hand.
e. Eph. 1:20; Ps. 110:1,5; Mt. 26:64; Mk. 16:19; Acts 2:32-36; 7:55-56; Rom. 8:34; Col. 3:1; Heb. 1:3,13; 10:12; 12:2; 1 Pet. 3:22.
f. He gave Him AUTHORITY over all other powers—both good and evil.
g. Eph. 1:21; 3:10; 6:12; Rom. 8:38; Col. 1:15-18; 2:10-17; Rev. 1:1,7,18; 11:15; 19:11-20.
h. He gave Him a NAME above every name (1 Cor. 11:3; Heb. 1:4).
i. He put ALL things under His feet (Eph. 1:22; Heb. 2:5-18; 1 Cor. 15:24-28).
j. He made Him HEAD of the CHURCH (Col. 1:18, 24; 2 Cor. 11:3).
k. Philippians 2:9-11 KJV — Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
