What is Your Spiritual DNA?

Foundation Scriptures:
And being let go, they went to their own company… and when they had prayed, the place was shaken… and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost… and great grace was upon them all. Acts 4:23–33 KJV
1. What is in Your Spiritual Code?
a. Every one of us carries DNA—the invisible code that determines who we are, how we grow, and what we become.
b. But when you were born again, God rewrote your spiritual code.
c. You received new DNA—Divine Nature Applied—the very nature of Jesus Christ inside of you.
d. You are no longer who you used to be.
e. You’ve been born of His seed.
f. You’ve been washed in His Blood.
g. You’ve been filled with His Spirit.
h. Now the world should be able to see Jesus in your walk, your talk, and your fire!
2. You Are Born of Heaven’s Bloodline.
a. 1 Peter 1:23 KJV –– Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.
b. When you got saved, you didn’t just join a church or a denomination, you were born into a royal family.
c. Heaven’s DNA was downloaded into your spirit.
d. You carry the bloodline of Christ.
e. That means:
- Sin no longer defines you.
- The curse no longer binds you.
- The past no longer confines you.
f. You are a new creation.
g. God’s nature beats in your heart and flows in your spiritual veins.
h. The devil cannot trace your lineage because your record’s been erased by the Blood!
3. You Must Identify Your Own Company.
a. Acts 4:23 says, “They went to their own company.”
b. When Peter and John were threatened, they didn’t turn to those who were cowards or complainers.
c. They went to the ones full of fire, faith, and the Holy Ghost.
d. In these last days, you must know who your company is.
e. When you are burning, don’t seek fellowship from the frozen chosen.
f. When you are believing for miracles, don’t ask the fearful to pray and agree with you.
g. Don’t mix your DNA with unbelief!
h. If you want to stay strong, stay connected to the people who shake buildings when they pray.
i. Stay with those who speak the Word with boldness.
j. Stay with Holy Ghost people who refuse to compromise.
4. Guard Your Spiritual DNA.
a. Just like natural DNA can mutate or be damaged, your spiritual DNA can be contaminated.
b. How?
- By wrong doctrine.
- By offense and bitterness.
- By lukewarm association.
c. Hebrews 12:15 warns, “Lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.”
d. So, guard your heart!
e. Stay pure in doctrine.
f. Stay free in forgiveness.
g. Stay burning in prayer.
h. The Holy Ghost doesn’t flow through polluted vessels.
i. Keep your river clean, and your fire will never go out.
5. You Are a Person of The River.
a. John 7:38 KJV –– He that believeth on me… out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
b. You are not a stagnant pond—you’re a river!
- Rivers bring life.
- Rivers cleanse and refresh.
- Rivers carve through the hardest ground.
c. When you yield to the Spirit, He’ll take you places you never imagined.
d. The River of God will carry you to nations, into prosperity, into purpose, into miracles.
e. His River will wash the world’s dust off you, fill you with joy, and flood every dry place in your life.
6. God’s DNA Makes You Fruitful and Fearless.
a. Psalm 1:3 says, “He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water… and whatsoever he does shall prosper.”
b. Your roots are planted in living water!
c. Because of your spiritual DNA:
- You prosper when others panic.
- You thrive in famine.
- You heal the sick.
- You cast out devils.
- You walk in joy unspeakable and full of glory.
d. That’s your nature—not because of who you are, but because of Whose you are!
7. Stay In the Flow and Keep the Fire Burning.
a. Revelation 3:16 says the lukewarm make God want to vomit, so stay on fire.
b. Jump into the River of God headfirst.
c. Don’t play around on the banks of indecision.
d. Don’t just dip your toe in once a week.
e. Dive in so deep, the devil can’t even catch your scent!
f. The River of God hides you, heals you, fills you, and fuels you for the harvest.
8. The DNA of Revival.
a. We are not weak, quiet, religious imitators.
b. We are sons and daughters of God carrying the DNA of revival.
c. We are a Holy Ghost people.
d. We are people of faith.
e. We are people of the River.
f. Let the world know who you are:
- Born of the Word.
- Washed in His Blood.
- Filled with the Spirit.
- Burning with fire.
g. Your spiritual DNA says: “I will not bow, I will not bend, I will not break; I am made in the image of Jesus Christ!”
9. The Challenge.
a. If your fire has dimmed, if your heart has drifted, if compromise has corrupted your code—today’s the day for a Holy Ghost transfusion!
b. Come drink of the River of God again.
c. Let the fire of God purify your DNA until all that remains is Jesus in you—the hope of glory (Col. 1:27).
d. Declare:
- I am born of God’s seed!
- His Spirit lives in me!
- His River flows through me!
- His fire burns within me!
- I am bold, pure, and unstoppable!
- This is my spiritual DNA!
