There Is A Sound

Foundation Scriptures:

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. Acts 2:2 KJV
The mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. 2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined. 3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. Psalm 50:1-3 KJV
1. Sound is Synonymous with Life.
a. Birth—sound.
b. Psalm 115:17a KJV — The dead praise not the Lord…
c. Acts 2:1-4 TPT
d. The sound of a violent blast of wind.
e. Rushing into the house out of the heavenly realm.
f. The roar of the wind was so overpowering it was all anyone could bear.
g. Then at once a pillar of fire appeared before their eyes.
h. It separated into tongues of fire that engulfed each one of them.
2. Wherever the Church of Jesus Christ is—There is Life.
a. Verse 6 TPT: When the people of the city heard the roaring sound, crowds came running to where it was coming from.
b. This is not a natural sound; this is a heavenly sound.
c. Matthew 11:15 KJV — He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
d. Not everyone will hear.
e. Out of the heavenly realm (verse 2).
3. The Realm of the Spirit Is More Real Than the Natural Realm.
a. The realm of the Spirit created the natural realm.
b. What Adam lost in the garden: his hearing, his sight, and his communion with God.
c. Genesis 3:8a KJV — And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day…=
d. Heard the voice.
e. Under the Old Covenant, the prophet, priest, and king were anointed.
f. When Jesus cried, “It is finished,” the veil of the temple was torn in two; everything changed.
g. The Day of Pentecost changed everything.
h. Man can see again.
i. Man can hear again.
j. Ephesians 1:18a KJV — The eyes of your understanding being enlightened…
4. There Is A Sound Throughout Scripture.
a. Genesis 1:3 KJV — And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
b. Genesis 4:8-10 KJV — And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. 9 And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? 10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.
c. The blood of Abel—voice cried out—there was a sound.
