A Celebration of Life

Pastor Lorna Howard-Browne

Publish date: 06/24/2018

Our precious mother, Lorna Howard-Browne, at exactly 8:05 AM EST on Sunday, June 24th, stepped over into Glory, after 90 years, 3 months and 24 days. She is now with Jesus, her precious Lord and Savior, and reunited with Derrick (her husband), Mervyn (her son), Doreen (her daughter) and Kelly May (granddaughter) and all the other saints of God, who welcomed her home. She heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Well done.”

The celebration of her life will be held at The River at Tampa Bay Church at 11 AM on Thursday, July 12th, 2018. In lieu of flowers please send a gift to the Great Awakening on revival.com for souls.

Our daughter, Kirsten Ring, heard this song—in her grandmother’s voice—on the way to church this morning. It so perfectly captures what we are all feeling today, as we say, “so long,” to our Mom/grandma, Lorna Howard-Browne. Her body was letting her down for a while. It is actually a relief to know that she’s no longer struggling. We just weep (with joy) every time we think about her entering into Heaven and the glorious joy of God’s eternal presence. We see her dancing and laughing and getting hugs from her husband, Derrick, and our daughter, Kelly, and the rest of the family there.
