Great Awakening Tour - Oklahoma City, OK Special Report

Great Awakening Tour

Publish date: 11/14/2008

November 9 - 14, 2008 @ 7 PM With Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne

At Crossroads Church, Oklahoma City.

Sunday night was a great start to the meetings at Crossroads Church where about 2,000 people gathered to hear Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne share on the importance of mobilizing the Body of Christ to go outside the four walls of the church to reach the un-churched for Christ. The power of God was very evident and many got filled with the Joy of the Lord.

The RMI team arrived on Wednesday and began training harvesters (soul winners), and by the time the meetings started on Sunday night, a total of 92 harvesters, visiting businesses, houses, old age homes and elsewhere, had led a total of 6,670 people in the prayer of salvation.

That's an average of 23 souls per harvester per day. It just shows what a handful of people empowered by the anointing of the Holy Ghost can do for the Kingdom of God. Just like on the day of Pentecost, 120 people, filled with the Holy Ghost, went out to fulfill the Great Commission that Christ gave to the Church. (Acts 2)

On Sunday night we heard some very compelling testimonies from four very excited people. Some started out very nervously, but after winning the first soul to Christ, were emboldened to continue. Be inspired by the testimonies from the Sunday night meeting.

Eileen, shares how nervous she was when she first went out with the team. But after seeing the change in the very first person she witnessed to, she was hooked. At the end of the day, she and her team approached a sports field and led an entire little league team to Christ.

Raymond, on his first day out with the team, led 20 people to Christ.

You can see the joy on his face as he shares what he experienced.

13 year old David, prays for a lady in a retirement home who tells him afterwards that this is the best thing that has happened to her in 78 years.

His total salvations is 110 in the first four days, with another five days still to go. Amazing!
