River Church - Hurricane Michael Relief

First Responders Being Dispatched - Get Involved Now

Publish date: 10/11/2018

As you may know, Hurricane Michael hit Florida on Wednesday, causing tremendous devastation. It made landfall as a catastrophic Category 4 storm near Mexico Beach in Florida with wind gusts of up to a deadly 175 mph. It is the Florida Panhandle’s strongest hurricane ever. The hurricane also brought a life-threatening storm surge of up to 14 feet. There has been severe flooding and damage to property. More than 118,780 households are without power. More than half a million people have been ordered to evacuate.

We are preparing teams RIGHT NOW to minister to those in need and to distribute food and water.

Please, will you pray? Pray and ask the Lord what He would have you to give today to help send immediate assistance. Maybe you cannot drop everything that you are doing right now to go and minister to those in need, but you can send financial support to send someone who can.  If you prefer to give by check, our mailing address is: Revival Ministries International, 3738 River International Drive, Tampa, FL 33610.  Checks are made out to Revival Ministries International. Please, indicate that your check and/or online gifts are for Hurricane Relief. Truly, together, we are making an eternal difference. Please, send your very best, and remember these precious people in your prayers.

Last year, with Hurricane Irma, we sent relief teams to Naples and surrounding areas. We assisted with the distribution of 60 tons of water, 40 tons of food, and 40 tons of bleach throughout the region. Over 3000 people made decisions for Jesus Christ.

Here are some of those hurricane relief testimonies:

"As we drove through the communities shouting, 'water and food,' the people came running out - children, grandmothers, mothers, and fathers. I've never seen anything like it! We blessed them with food and water and shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many received Christ! It was amazing to see the relief on their faces. It was a blessing to be able to let them know that they are not forgotten." Taisha M.

"We had loaded the van with food and water and headed to another location. When we arrived, we saw severe flooding all over the area. We found a place to park and announced that we had free food and water. People came from everywhere. When we saw that we did not have enough, we started asking people to share with each other and, amazingly, they did. We shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them and 208 people, right there, made decisions for Jesus Christ!"Esmond B.

“For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink…” Matthew 25:35 (Amplified)

Please, do whatever the LORD directs you to do; invest now.

Adonica and I are praying for you and thank God for you.

For souls,
Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne
